Library

The Library is the firm's reusable knowledge in one searchable place: document templates, boilerplate you copy, links to where assets live, and reference notes. It's the antidote to “which folder was that proposal template in again?”

What lives here

Each item has a type that sets how you use it:

  • Template — a structured starting point (engagement letter, creative brief, reporting pack outline).
  • Snippet — copyable boilerplate (proposal cover language, standard email copy).
  • Link / Asset — a pointer to where something lives (brand kit, a Drive or Box folder, a deck).
  • Note — reference guidance the team should know.

Cards show the type, category, tags, and a preview. Copy text puts a snippet or template body on your clipboard; Open follows a link in a new tab.

Finding things

The search box matches across title, category, tags, and body, and the category chips filter to one area at a time. Everyone in the firm can search, copy, and open — the Library is shared knowledge.

Adding and curating

Partners, senior managers, and managers can add and edit items via + New item: title, type, category, tags, an optional link, and an optional body (with a full editor for boilerplate text). Items can be archived (recoverable) or deleted. Renaming keeps everything else intact.

The Library is link- and text-based: it points to where assets live rather than storing files. Paste the share URL (Drive, Box, Canva, etc.) into a link item so the team always finds the current version.

Starter packs

Each firm begins with Library items matched to its type (Settings → Firm type). A finance firm gets prospect-profile, engagement-letter, kickoff, data-request, reporting-pack, action-register, and decision-log templates; a marketing agency gets creative brief, brand questionnaire, content calendar, campaign report, and SOW templates. Edit them to match how your firm actually works.
